Steve is looking for fans, players and coaches around the world that will ultimately become ambassadors for Samaritan’s Feet; people just like you who are willing to use their platform to tell the story of under-served children throughout the world and right here in the US.

Help Steve Reach His Goals
Here are the three ways that you can help Steve and Samaritan’s Feet reach our goals:
1. DONATE: Help Steve raise $100,000

2. SUPPORT: Participate in our wristband program
Coaches and players, your team can commit to support Samaritan’s Feet by helping raise $1,000, which will provide about 66 pairs of shoes to impoverished children. To raise this money and join Smith as a Football Ambassador, purchase Samaritan’s Feet wristbands to wear during your season or for a specific game as a reminder that each coach and player is playing for someone besides himself. 3. VOLUNTEER
Our goal is to provide opportunities for all to experience servant leadership through washing the feet of impoverished children and placing a new pair of shoes and socks on their feet at Samaritan’s Feet shoe distributions, both domestically and internationally. These experiences help save lives, create long-term, service-minded individuals and will ultimately make our communities a better place to live.
Samaritan’s Feet will host shoe distributions in each of the eight opposing NFL cities the Carolina Panthers play in 2012, as well as in Charlotte, NC. Dates and cities are as follows:
- Saturday, September 8th in Tampa, FL
- Saturday, September 29th in Atlanta, GA
- Saturday, October 27th in Chicago, IL
- Saturday, November 3rd in Washington, DC
- Sunday, November 25th in Philadelphia, PA
- Saturday, December 1st in Kansas City, MO
- Saturday, December 15th in San Diego, CA
- Saturday, December 22nd in Charlotte, NC
- Saturday, December 29th in New Orleans, LA
In addition, we are currently planning international trips to Peru and Israel and domestic trips to serve homeless men in Los Angeles and San Diego.

Steve’s Barefoot Campaign “Shoes of Hope”
At the end of each game, Steve will leave his cleats at midfield and walk barefoot to the locker room to bring further awareness to the great need for shoes and hope. Each week, Samaritan’s Feet, supported by Lifetouch Sports, will put Steve’s game worn shoes on a website to auction them off to the highest bidder. The money raised will go towards providing new shoes to impoverished children. View Steve in action and learn more here.
