Shoe Drives
What a great way to get involved and partner with Samaritan’s Feet. We have been a part of many great and creative ideas that have raised hundreds of thousand of shoes for children and families worldwide. We are always in need of children size athletic shoes and hosting a shoe drive is a fun and easy way to get involved - the more shoes we have, the more children we can help. So be creative in how you get others involved in making a shoe donation to this mission.
Youth groups, schools, athletic teams, and businesses have all played a role in our global effort to provide shoes to those in need. A drive can be as simple as a poster and a collection bin or as intense as running a race in your bare feet. Regardless, your efforts do have a lasting impact and will leave a lasting footprint on the life of a child.

STEPS FOR HOSTING A SHOE DRIVE
Step 1 Sign up to host a shoe drive
See the bottom of this page to get started. Once your information is received, a representative will contact you to discuss the next step.
Step 2 Let us talk you through your shoe drive
Samaritan’s Feet staff will provide you with the information you need to make the most of your shoe drive. The opportunities and possibilities are endless!
Step 3 Select your shoe drive dates
Generally shoe drives take place over a four-week period. We have found shoe drives can be more effective when coupled with local or sporting events, festivals or other fundraisers.
Step 4 Promote your shoe drive
Samaritan’s Feet will provide you with brochures, fliers and other literature you may need to spread the word about what you are doing. See how Susie Herges raised 4,123 pairs of shoes!
Step 5 Host your shoe drive
Collect new athletic shoes from friends, neighbors, co-workers, family and other acquaintances. Samaritan’s Feet has found children’s sizes 10 – 4 to be the most critical need.
Step 6 Pack and ship the shoes
You may ship your shoes to Samaritan’s Feet headquarters in Charlotte, NC, or use a local drop-off location (if available). Let us know if you are interested in distributing the shoes in your area!
