Africa
Not only do shoes prevent infection and disease in Africa and other regions, the Samaritan’s Feet foot washing movement is an innovative form of reducing tribal tensions and resolving conflict among clashing political groups and countries.
Through a collaborative effort among African governments, the faith-based community, corporations, schools and civic organizations, Samaritan’s Feet is bringing foot washing and protective footwear to countries including Burundi, Cameroon, Cape Verde, Republic of the Congo, Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Liberia, Mozambique, Nigeria, Rwanda, South Africa, Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, and Zimbabwe.
