 Samaritan’s Feet Masoyi Project Update

 BECAUSE OF YOU:

 ·         1770 orphans and home bound patients were able to have one meal of maize meal today

·         Between May and August 1st, over 2000 children will attend Bible Club hearing and acting out the Bible stories of Jonah and of Shadrach, Mechach and Abednego in the fiery furnace.

·          Two young South African men recommended by local pastors are being interviewed for admittance into Africa School of Missions for the Christian Life Skills Training Program. This one year program involves intensive Bible Training, preparing these young, African men for serving in their community.

In April, a team of 25 traveled to Masoyi and ministered alongside the Masoyi Home Based Care volunteers: feeding the orphans, purchasing new school uniforms, holding Bible Clubs, washing the feet and giving new tennis shoes to over 350 refugee orphans, building three homes for child-headed households, planting gardens and providing fellowships for staff of Africa School of Missions.

In May, a team of 3 ladies traveled to Masoyi for a short visit. These ladies checked on the gardens, construction projects and feeding programs. They held 4 Bible Club Programs and purchased more school uniforms for orphans.

On July 15th, a team of 4 ladies traveled to Masoyi. This team will be overseeing the building of a well at Legogote Primary School in Masoyi.   In addition, they will hold 10 Bible Club Programs, fellowships for Masoyi Home Based Care Volunteers and Africa School of Missions students and faculty.

In November, two additional trips are planned.
