Samaritan's Feet | South Africa
Co-Directors
Mark and Caroline Collie are the Co-Directors of Samaritan's Feet South Africa. Mark is originally from Welkom, South Africa.
After completing a degree in Biokinetics, Mark worked in the sports industry in South Africa. He briefly worked in the US before eventually moving to the UK for the next 11 years. He worked in the sports fitness industry and then financial services before answering the call to ministry as a church staff member in 2007.
Caroline is from North Carolina, USA. In 2002, a three month overseas missions trip left her "ruined for the ordinary" and ready to serve the Lord in missions wherever He would send her. While completing her undergraduate degree in Broadcast Communications and then a Masters in International Studies, she travelled on missions to Mexico, South Africa, Zambia and Scotland.
The Collies met when Caroline moved to Scotland to be part of a team starting a church in the city of Edinburgh in 2005. They married two years later. After serving the church in Edinburgh together, they felt the Lord drawing them back to Mark's home country to make a difference in the lives of people in poverty.
Mark and Caroline have one Scottish-African-American son, Asher and currently reside in Gordon's Bay, South Africa.
