Theresa Randleman is the CEO of T. ROSE Entertainment, LLC, a Michigan-based destination management company that focuses on marketing and promoting family-oriented events. T ROSE also manages national jazz artists, providing tour management and bookings. In April 2009, Theresa received an email about a Samaritan’s Feet shoe distribution at the Coleman Young Academy in Detroit during the NCAA Final Four. She immediately signed up for the event, and was inspired to begin orchestrating distributions of her own. She recruited a committee in Lansing made up of Crystal Horton, Kathy Edmonds, Annie Nora Smith, Brandi Branson, Angela Mathews, and Arnetta Cage. Samaritan's-Feet Mid Michigan was born.
Mid-Michigan Shoe Distributions
The first distribution organized by Theresa and her team took place in Lansing in December 2009, when 170 volunteers joined together to bless over 500 people with new shoes and words of encouragement. Since then, Samaritan's Feet-Mid Michigan has continued to grow. This year on December 18th, they are expanding their mission to bless over 1000 people just in time for Christmas. They will then participate in the MLK Day of Service on January 17th by giving away 250 more pairs.

Step 2 Let us talk you through your shoe drive
Samaritan's Feet staff will provide you with the information you need to make the most of your shoe drive. The opportunities and possibilities are endless!
Step 3 Select your shoe drive dates
Generally shoe drives take place over a four-week period. We have found shoe drives can be more effective when coupled with local or sporting events, festivals or other fundraisers.
Step 4 Promote your shoe drive
Samaritan's Feet will provide you with brochures, fliers and other literature you may need to spread the word about what you are doing. See how Susie Herges raised 4,123 pairs of shoes!
Step 5 Host your shoe drive
Collect new athletic shoes from friends, neighbors, co-workers, family and other acquaintances. Samaritan's Feet has found children's sizes 10 - 4 to be the most critical need.
Step 6 Pack and ship the shoes
You may ship your shoes to Samaritan's Feet headquaters in Charlotte, NC, or use a local drop-off location (if available). Let us know if you are interested in distributing the shoes in your area!
