100 Holes of Golf in 100 Degree Heat To Support Samaritan’s Feet
Twenty golfers took to the links on July 11, 2011 to raise money and awareness for Samaritan’s Feet during a 100-Hole Golf Marathon. The heat index at the Hawthorns Golf Club reached well over 100 degrees, but that didn’t deter the golfers from raising $15,000 to help provide more than 1500 pairs of shoes to children in need. The event was organized by Marathon Event Marketing.
