On February 6th, Samaritan’s Feet Ambassador Samuel Santa Maria and a team of volunteers reached out to 500 Peruvian children in Callao through a project called “Happy Hearts”.

In partnership with the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church, the young children participated in games and songs before receiving new shoes from Samaritan’s Feet.  Each child also had their feet washed by Samaritan’s Feet team members, who shared with the children a message of hope and encouragement.

The work of Samaritan’s Feet in Peru continues to increase; next week both children and the elderly in the town of Chorrillos will be blessed with kindness and compassion as they have their feet washed and receive new shoes. In addition, Samaritan’s Feet and Pastor Samuel’s ministry to the incarcerated men and women in the Peruvian penitentiaries will expand to the maximum security prison in Chorrillos.
