Indianapolis-based Langham Logistics Inc. is providing free storage for shoes donated to the non-profit Samaritans Feet. The organization distributes shoes around the world. Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis men's basketball Head Coach Ron Hunter has been trying to raise awareness for the organization. He plans to coach a game this weekend in bare feet. Governor Mitch Daniels will appear in his bare feet at his office tomorrow as a show of support for Hunter's efforts.
 
INDIANAPOLIS (Jan. 14, 2009)- Langham Logistics has agreed to provide free storage donated shoes for Samaritans Feet, a non-profit organization that distributes shoes around the world. Langham’s warehouse space, located on the west side of Indianapolis, will house the donated shoes until the inventory can be transferred to its main storage facility.
 
“We are more than happy to assist with this worthy cause”, said Cathy Langham, CEO and co-owner of Langham Logistics.
 
Samaritan’s Feet gained notoriety locally through the work of IUPUI men’s basketball coach Ron Hunter and his work with the organization last year.
