Pastor Samuel's partnership with Samaritan's Feet to reach the lost and hopeless in the Peruvian prisons is on track to impact over 40,000 inmates!
The project kicked off in November 2009 and in a few short months, thousands of prisoners have had their feet washed and have been encouraged with God's love as they receive a new pair of shoes.
On February 15th, Pastor Samuel and his Samaritan's Feet team of ambassadors visited a maximum security women's prison in Chorrillos. The children of the inmates also were blessed with shoes. Of the three hundred prisoners who participated in the shoe distribution, 84 of them renounced their lives of crime and dedicated their lives to God!
Samaritan's Feet prison outreach is expanding to Jamaica, where volunteers will venture into the dark and despairing penitentiaries, touching the hearts and lives of inmates and bringing hope to those who have none.
