Pastor Samuel Santa Maria and a team of Samaritan's Feet Ambassadors are reaching out to the forgotten population of female prisoners in Peru.
Pastor Samuel and a group of volunteers washed the feet of 700 female prisoners at the Santa Monica Prison and provided them with new shoes. The following day, 200 more prisoners along with 75 of their children also received shoes.
The director of the penitentiary wrote a letter to Pastor Samuel, thanking Samaritan's Feet for demonstrating love and kindness to the inmates of the facility.
Unfortunately, some in Pastor Samuel's community do not approve of his work with prisoners, and he has received threats of kidnapping. However, Pastor Samuel is undeterred, and is confident that God is protecting his work with Samaritan's Feet.

(Even children of inmates were provided with shoes during the distribution at Santa Monica Prison.)
