By the Children, For the Children 

Elementary School (Grades K-5)                          

By the Children, For the Children is a program developed in collaboration
with Huntingtowne Farms Elementary School and Missions 4 Jesus.

Criteria:
• Commit to supporting the vision of Samaritan’s Feet and its Youth Ambassador Program
mission statement, which states:
    
Samaritan’s Feet is a non-profit humanitarian organization that seeks to equip the feet of 10
         million children around the world with 10 million pairs of shoes in 10 years. 

    
To provide a global and innovative learning experience for elementary and middle school
         students that foster hope, a heart of compassion, and life skills, which promotes a foundation for
         selfless service.
• Commit to partnering with an overseas school for a minimum of three years.
• Commit to encouraging your students to create and support the projects that will help your sister school.
• Projects selected should focus on bettering the quality of education for students in your sister school.
•Commit to communicating with your sister school and exchanging ideas on a quarterly basis via phone, video conferencing, email, mail or travel.
• Commit to starting and finishing projects.
• Commit to maintaining the partnership after Samaritan’s Feet International initializes the first phases of contact which are:

    
Delivery of shoes
    
Exchange of school information
    
Signing of documents by each school for partnership
    
Progress reports on projects for the first six months
