CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER
History and Mission
Samaritan's Feet was founded in 2003 by Nigerian native Emmanuel (Manny) Ohonme. Samaritan's Feet is an international humanitarian organization providing relief to the feet of hurting children and poor people around the world displaced due to poverty, war, and natural disasters. We demonstrate compassion by washing and equipping their feet with shoes and touching their hearts with God's message of hope and love.
Our mission is to help alleviate human suffering by providing God's hope and love, and relief through shoes to children and the poor around the world. The goal of Samaritan's Feet is to equip the feet of 10 million impoverished people with 10 million pairs of shoes, over the next 10 years.
Our team of staff, board members, volunteers, partners and short term missionaries not only provide shoes to these children, but we get on our knees and wash the feet of each shoe recipient. We demonstrate servant leadership by washing the feet of each of them and tell them that God loves them. Our results have been incredible based on the hundreds of thousands of reformed lives that we have witnessed.
