Heroes Helping Heroes is a campaign that seeks to unite and strengthen communities in the United States around the cause of building sustainable communities for orphans in Africa. Our first focus is the tribal community of Masoyi, South Africa. Heroes Helping Heroes seeks to provide the orphans of Masoyi with both short-term needs and long-term solutions to help combat abject poverty, malnutrition, and HIV/AIDs. These short-term needs include housing, food, and clothes, while our long-term plan focuses on educational programs, spiritual guidance and job creation within the community in the fields of teaching, construction and gardening.
A primary focus of Heroes Helping Heroes is nutrition for the 1,770 orphans in Masoyi that are currently cared for by volunteers of Masoyi Home Based Care. Click here to find out how to become a Hero and curb malnutrition in Masoyi by sponsoring one of these orphans!
Heroes Helping Heroes is an campaign created by Gene Smart Compassion, a not-for-profit organization of the highest integrity that is a close friend to Samaritan's Feet International. Gene Smart Compassion shares a passion for the wellbeing of children with Samaritan's Feet International, and the two organizations have partnered on the Heroes Helping Heroes - Masoyi Initiative to help empower children of this South African region.
