Criteria:
• Grades 4-8 only
• You must be committed to supporting the vision of Samaritan’s Feet and its Youth Ambassador Program mission statement, which states:
Samaritan’s Feet is a non-profit humanitarian organization that seeks to equip the feet of 10
million children around the world with 10 million pairs of shoes in 10 years.
To provide a global and innovative learning experience for elementary and middle school
students that foster hope, a heart of compassion, and life skills, which promotes a foundation for
selfless service.
• Commit to partnering with an overseas school for a minimum of two to three years.
• Commit to encouraging your students to create and support the projects that will help your sister school.
• Projects selected should focus on bettering the quality of education for students in their sister school.
• Commit to communicating with your assigned school and exchanging ideas on a monthly basis via phone, blog, email, or mail when you start.
• Commit to communicating with your assigned school via video conferencing every other
month once the video conferencing has been set up for each school.
• Play an intricate part in helping to set up the video conferencing in your area.
• Commit to raising the necessary funding for video conferencing.
• Coordinate themed topics with your sister school. (Ex. sports, politics, culture, arts, health and wellness etc.)
