TOUCH

 The words of faith, hope and love that have been taught are reinforced by the simple act of washing the feet of those receiving shoes, followed by a hug, smile and prayer.

 Two basic questions are asked:

• What is the worst thing that ever happened to you?

                      This allows children to share the pain in their hearts.

• What do you want to do when you grow up?

                     This fosters an expression of hope for the future.

 One Solution is presented:

             Jesus forgives and heals the past; Jesus holds the future.

In these eight minutes of personal time, not only is each child touched physically, God also has the opportunity to touch their hearts and the hearts of the washers for eternity.
