How It Works

Samaritan’s Feet works to bring a life-changing message of hope to impoverished and underprivileged children around the world through a variety of sports focused programs and equipping their feet with shoes.  Additionally, we provide opportunities to interested youth to become active volunteers thereby developing their sense of responsibility and kinship to all humankind.

  1. Shoe of Hope (Shoe Relief Missions) – is an innovative project with a goal to equip the feet of 10 million impoverished children, with 10 million pairs of athletic shoes, over the next 10 years.  In America and around the world through shoe relief missions we will bring a life-changing message of hope, peace, and love.  Samaritan’s Feet will host major shoe relief missions to children in developing countries; Youth volunteers will be provided ways to assist with these missions and to serve in various capacities.  In addition, our “Shoe of Hope” back-to-school shoe drive program will help support and equip underprivileged families with shoes. The drive will be launched in several cities around the country.  Samaritan’s Feet will serve as a global clearinghouse to distribute athletic shoes to millions of people who badly need them

Interested in hosting a Shoe of Hope Drive in your city, church or school or a to book a Samaritan’s Feet representative to come speak at your function, please call toll free 866.833.SHOE or e-mail info@samaritansfeet.org

  1. Team Challenge Adventures Sports Leadership Retreat - focuses on athletes across the School Systems.  Currently working with Charlotte area school Varsity and Junior Varsity teams, the program are designed to provide practical leadership and team skills for young men and women. It simultaneously teaches them the importance of developing a heart to serve others, a key component to effective leadership.  The program will provide leadership skills training for high school athletes at an off site location in Matthews.  The one-day training will include classroom motivational time, practical application, teambuilding exercises, and a follow-up review.  Volunteers will provide follow up evaluation to players and awards will be given at the awards banquet. Athletes will be provided opportunities to donate shoes worn during the season to “Samaritans Feet”.

  2. J.C Jam Fest - JCJ Fest is a high-spirited weekend of slamming, and jamming 3-on-3 hoop competition, music festival, and family entertainment.  The Festival’s mission is to use competitive sports as a platform to reach and develop the next generation of community and business leaders with a heart to serve. Creating an international 3-on-3 basketball competition hosted in cities across North America and around the world, J.C. Jam Fest will reach athletically minded people, with a message of hope; sending ambassadors to serve and demonstrate love through sports and recreational adventures.  Samaritan’s Feet along with its partners will host 2 annual J.C. Jam Fest tournaments in the United States.  Winners of the United States J.C. Jam Fest as well as winners from around the world will receive an invitation to compete at the International J.C. Jam Fest annual games in Charlotte.  United States J.C. Jam Fest winners will be invited to participate with the Shoe Relief Mission program to put tennis shoes on impoverished children around the world.
