Volunteers are always needed to process shoes in the warehouse. Without the dedication of the volunteers, we would never be able to work towards our mission of creating a world with zero shoeless children. Your time and support will change the life of a child and provide them with the gift of new shoes and the message of hope.
We ask that all volunteers plan to bring a donation of $20 per volunteer or a new pair of children’s athletic shoes and pair of socks as part of your volunteer experience in our warehouse.
What does volunteering in the warehouse look like?
Most groups, families, or individuals are scheduled for either a two- or three-hour time frame. Volunteering begins with a short video and an overview of the organization. These are followed by a training session to explain the details of processing the shoes. After your time in the warehouse, we’ll send you off incredibly thankful for your time and dedication in helping prepare shoes for people all around the world.
Age & Dress Policy
Children under the age of 8 are not permitted in the warehouse. Children ages 8-15 may volunteer with a parent or chaperone. While the warehouse is temperature controlled, it often reflects the outside temperature, so we suggest volunteers dress in layers. Closed-toed shoes are not required but are highly recommended.
