Are you in the Charlotte area and looking for a way to serve in a safe, impactful way? We have opportunities for you!

Although we have created a safe volunteer environment in our Charlotte warehouse, we understand some people feel more comfortable serving in their home, church, or office.

Individuals, families, work teams, churches, or school clubs are great groups to volunteer off-site for us. We’ve seen church groups volunteer in the fellowship halls, school clubs volunteer in their gyms, and families volunteer in their living rooms.

Depending on our current needs, off-site volunteers will be responsible for organizing and packing Hope Totes, sorting socks, organizing hygiene kits, writing Hope Notes, and/or processing shoes. These items are then distributed to children in need across the United States.

When you volunteer off-site for us, here is what you can expect:

  • Contact from our volunteer coordinator to discuss details.
  • A pick-up date and time at our warehouse (don’t worry—you don’t even have to enter the building).
  • Increments of 200 – 400 items (all boxed up) based on your group size.
  • Clear instructions on your tasks.
  • How to drop off the items back with Samaritan’s Feet.

We can’t distribute shoes without volunteers like you putting them together. So, thank you!
