Choosing a Mission Trip

Samaritan’s Feet offers domestic and international mission trips that are open to the public, so individuals, couples, families, and small groups can join any trip. Or, if you have a school group or church that wants to plan a mission trip just for them, Samaritan’s Feet can use its network and expertise to plan a private trip just for your group.

Cancellation Policy

If Samaritan’s Feet cancels a trip for any reason, participants will be notified. Individuals will have the option to transfer their balance to a future Samaritan’s Feet trip within the following calendar year of the originally scheduled trip. Other than the $150 deposit, donations made towards a trip cannot be returned as they are considered tax-deductible donations towards Samaritan’s Feet.

If a participant cancels their trip 30 days or less prior to departure, all collected funds will be used for the missions, as, by that point, those funds will have been used for the trip’s expenses.

If a participant withdraws from a trip more than 45 days prior to departure, they will be given the option of applying their balance of funds raised, less a $300 charge fee, to a future a Samaritan’s Feet trip to be taken within 12 months of the withdraw date.

The above policy applies to groups, too, they also have the option of swapping out individuals if permitted by the Director of Missions and airfare was purchased at a group rate.
