Washing Feet in Columbus

Stowe Mission

At Stowe Mission with our partner Molina Health Care, we served 650 individuals at their annual Summer Block Party. Many families, including entire families, were given hope totes, meals, clothing, and a fun day in the summer sun. We washed feet at this event and after being hesitant to do so, one employee from Molina did wash feet and shared that it was life-changing for her.

Welcoming
Refugees

Community Refugee & Immigration Services

With Community Refugee and Resettlement in Columbus, we served 250 seniors who were new to not only Columbus, but the United States. Our volunteers were were able to welcome these new community members, offer kindness, and through the gift of new shoes, provide hope.

Partner's Gratitude

RAJ, CRIS

A Big Day

Stiles Elementary

It was a big day at Stiles Elementary when over 200 volunteers served 1,600 students and their families. NIL Partner, Emma Goldean, from The Ohio State University, brought her field hockey team to serve, plus, the Columbus Police Department volunteered, and the Columbus Fire Department brought fire engines for the children to see. It was truly a day of community celebration.

Partner's Experience

Elese M., Stow Mission

We cannot thank you enough for allowing us to partner with you for the shoe give-away! We are all still very excited about the love that our community received. As I walked to my car last night, a couple of ladies called out to thank us for the shoes and let me know how comfortable they are.

A Team Serving

Miami Valley Child Development

The Wright State University men’s basketball team served at this event, bringing lots of energy and excitement to the day. There was one little girl who came in with Velcro shoes and left with shoes that had laces. She looked at the volunteer and asked if we could teach her how to tie her shoes. She was beaming when she left the event with her new shoes and skills.
